Hayley orrantia is a native of the US. Her main focus is actor, however she is also an acrobat and songwriter. Many people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. Her definition of herself is a musician first and foremost. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she loves. She began playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she was 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant formal training. When she was 13, she started writing songs. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. It hasn't turned to the past since. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. Despite the fact that she only spoke English as a child and never visited Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic origins. She strives to keep it alive by learning to speak Spanish and creating songs in the language. The singer recorded an Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia won the first season of the X Factor after she submitted an YouTube audition video. The judge gave her four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage in Seattle. Although she originally auditioned on her own at "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female singers, were put into groups for the remaining part in the selection process. The live performances were held during the week of 5th.
