Ina Garden is an American cookbook writer who has won Emmy Awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for another 27 seasons. Ina started writing Nuclear energy and policy documents for the White House. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon lost interest. So she purchased the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to let it go. Then she began writing the first book. Numerous other books as well as newspaper articles were published. Between them the Food Network show was also successful. Additionally, she sells items that range from food items to storage containers and tools. Ina did not go to a cooking school and has not been employed in restaurants. She's completely self-taught. She is well-known for her unpretentious approach to entertainment and simple cooking. Her most well-known dishes include Skillet with roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac and Cheese.
